About the College

The College of Islamic Sciences was established in 2006, initially admitting 55 students from both scientific and literary high school branches. It later moved to its current location within the university college complex. Since its foundation, the college has focused on Islamic academic studies and has contributed to graduating students with distinguished academic and professional competence to serve their country.

Preparing a generation of preachers who possess a sound understanding of Islam as intended by the Creator, guided by qualified academic staff who contribute to building a peaceful and loving Muslim society through:
1- Spreading the correct Islamic creed.
2- Promoting the Prophetic biography as a role model.
3- Highlighting the status and rights of women in Islam.
4- Raising awareness of family happiness within Islamic rulings.
5- Emphasizing the value of knowledge and its role in societal prosperity.
The College of Islamic Sciences – University of Tikrit seeks to:
1- Admit students with strong academic potential and motivate them.
2- Graduate a conscious generation that believes in the divine message.
3- Qualify students in public speaking, teaching, and lecturing.
4- Develop the ability to face challenges and respond to doubts.
5- Prepare preachers and speakers with correct beliefs.
6- Eliminate innovations and superstitions.
7- Promote Islamic unity according to the Qur’an and Sunnah.
8- Strengthen moderation and balance.
9- Combat extremism and respond to misconceptions.
To provide society with qualified academic personnel capable of promoting the principles of Islam across various fields of life, in order to achieve dignity and peace in both this world and the hereafter.
