Department Introduction
Established in 2018, the department integrates modern economic sciences with the Islamic vision of finance and banking. It aims to prepare students with the scientific competence required to work in the banking and economic sectors based on solid knowledge foundations.
Vision
To provide specialized professionals capable of managing banking and financial operations in Islamic banks and monitoring financial transactions to ensure compliance with Islamic law.
Mission
To promote Islamic economic principles in earning, developing, and spending wealth, and to instill Sharia-based values in students so they can become active contributors to building the Islamic economy in Iraq.
